Postby chargersfan36 » Mon Mar 22, 2010 9:16 pm

12 team standard roto league. Huston Street and Chris Perez for Heyward, Austin Jackson, and Brandon Wood.

C - Montero
C - Navarro
1B - Berkman
2B - Kinsler
3B - Longoria
SS - J. Reyes
CI - Zimmerman
MI - Uggla
OF - Bay
OF - Coghlan
OF - Reimold
OF - M. Ordonez
OF - Dye
Util - Furcal
P - Kershaw
P - Peavy
P - Cueto
P - Scherzer
P - Street
P - B. Wagner
P - Hoffman
P - C. Perez
P - K. Gregg
BN - M. Adams
BN - Rzepczynski
BN - J. Chamberlain

I made a point of being deep at closer so making this deal would pretty much negate that effort, but Heyward does look pretty sexy this spring and my OF is garbage (will be hunting WW if Dye remains teamless). What would you do? Thanks WHIR.

Thanks for the reply on mine. I would do this, Heyward is worth the upgrade to your OF imo

Is this a keeper league?

Because while trading away an injured Street and unknown quantity in Perez, you are getting value... but are you putting too much value on players who won't contribute in the first couple of months? Heyward is a question mark to me. The CF option on Detroit is probably a wise choice. But not sure why you value Wood that much.

Are Michael Brantley and Ryan Ludwick taken? What about Aaron Rowand? I get you want to gamble on some sleepers, but not sure giving up that much value at closer is the way to go. Unless you are sure Perez will lose his job or Street won't be in the bullpen by mid-April.

Thanks for replying in my thread.
