My thought is that I need pitching (my roster is at the bottom) and perhaps maybe grabbing Stephen Drew and dropping Beltre... What do you guys think? Here is who is available ... I dont want to use my #1 if I dont have to....if there is no one worth it then Ill keep the #1 and grab whats left over, of course unless one of these are worth it.
Leave a link and Ill get you back %100!
Hitters: Stephen Drew - (Drop Beltre?) Chipper Jones Corey Hart Chris Coghlan
Pitchers: Ben Sheets - (Drop Sachez?) Shaun Marcum - (Drop Sanchez?) Gavin Floyd - (Drop Sanchez?) Kevin Correia
Ted Lilly Aaron Harang J.A. Happ Chris Young Daisuke Matsuzaka Joe Blanton
Mat Latos Wade Davis Aroldis Chapman Francisco Liriano

I don't think I would make a move. You have no real needs at the moment so you might as well keep your #1 priority and see if something big comes along. I would however keep an eye on Wade Davis, Chapman, Sheets and all the hitters you listed. I wouldn't drop either Beltre or Sanchez for them yet but if either one struggles out of the gate and any of the above start off hot then don't hesitate to make a move.

#1 waiver is league dependent IMO. If you play in a league where people will panic in mid-May and start dropping good slumping players then I'd strongly advise against using it for anyone here. I'm not as high on Sanchez as others and I'd let him go for a lot of those pitchers but again I'd let them clear first. Floyd, Liriano, Sheets, Lilly, Happ, in that order I'd all rather have over Sanchez.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.
Sanchez? Anibal or Johnathan O? Although it doesn't matter all that much IMO. I would take Happ over either one. After that, your most reliable option would be Floyd. Your higher risk options are Sheets, Marcum, and Liriano. These guys all have tremendous upside but haven't been able to string together consistent seasons due to injuries or other issues. Marcum was tabbed opening day starter today which speaks for how he has progressed this spring. He has the potential to be lights out this season if healthy. Liriano has been lighting it up this spring training, but...it is spring training. Sheets...I just can't and would not roll those dice.
Where's your bench? I would try and get Floyd onto my team in place of Sanchez, and I'm pretty sure I would burn my #1 WW to do it. What's not to like about 200+ innings, 170 Ks, and a chance for 16+ wins with a sub-4 ERA and a ~1.20 WHIP? I really like Marcum too, he's been doing great during his ST and if you could drop one of your bench bats to get him, I definitely would.
Living in SF I've had the oortunity to see alot of Sanchez over the past 3 years. While he did have career bests in IP, K, ERA and WHIP last season, there was nothing to write home about. I guess in a pitchers park like ATT I would expect much more than an ERA north of 4.60 and a sub-500 win %. That being said, from a fantasy perspective I like most everyone you listed better than him.
These 2 I dont want to move just year Soriano Rios
However I really like having a bench spot avail for a positional player... Im trying to decide to grab Stephen drew as well!
As for the pitchers.... Who ever I make a move on would be added in replace of Downs and/or Sanchez
Should I use my #1 for any of Marcum, sheets, floyd, lindstrom for Downs and Sanchez?
I would take Marcum then Floyd then Sheets over Sanchez with the #1 priority. I would also try and get Stephen Drew 2nd, maybe not everyone put in requests.
EDIT*** Get rid of Alex Rios for Stephen Drew. Rios is a bum who won't live up to the expectations of a couple years ago.
