I'm damn near pulling the trigger for depth...I just want some experience to chime in....I'm a huge baseball fan, but a fantasy noob....so any comment has a base...

Forget depth, it's a 10 team league. You can find someone on FA if you really want depth later on in the year. You might as well keep Manny because those other guys will ride your bench.

Your username and avatar alone makes me want to take you word like gospel ;-D

I agree though....I FEEL like Manny is set for at least a 30+ HR/100 RBI year....I just needed some confirmation....

Is this a keeper league? If so, I might consider the offer a little more. If not, still worth consideration. Manny wasn't really being Manny post suspension and at 38, who knows what he'll do this season. You wonder if '08 was a result of juice and his desire to get paid? Like you said, you have plenty of depth and I think Quentin on your bench has a much better chance at 30+/100 than ManRam. It's also not far fetched to think Beckham will out produce Young.

H2h League...

and that's exactly what has me entertaining the idea...

I have Quentin and Nyjer on my bench....

Quentin, if healthy can make up any production lost with Manny...Nyjer is if I need some more speed on the bags or just batting .avg....

I Hate to give Manny away, but I'm not extremely strong at 3B and GB will also be 2B eligable this year...

I make this deal. Manny just drive me nuts... and I'd keep him as long as I can get a nice deal. You ate getting one and you have replacements that more than work. Yes.

Lend your Cafe opinion to me.
