Keeper deadlin...

Postby Carnac » Mon Mar 22, 2010 7:40 pm

We had a keeper deadline of Saturday at 6:30 pm. Our draft was 6:30 pm on Sunday.

I asked for everyone to give their keepers (3) to me by 2 weeks prior to the draft, but could make a change up to the deadline. Well, one requested a change about 3 hours before the deadline and I made the changes he requested the evening before our draft. Sunday, I log on about a half hour before the draft and he is asking me to change one of the keepers back. I didn't do it and let him know the deadline had already passed and that I had made the changes he requested right before the deadline.

He is raising a stink about me not making the change. Would any of you have done this? And what if a couple other players made the same request and I'm stuck entering keepers instead of organizing my sheets for the draft.

I am a Commish and I have in the rules specific wording on that so there can be no misunderstanding. If you had specific language about the Keepers, you are in the clear. We use CBS stats and he keeper deadline date is put into the system. The owners then put a checkmark next to their keepers. When the deadline arrives, all others are deleted. There is no chance for do overs. == If you want to stop his whinning, ask everyone in the league if they want the procedure to be done a different way. You will probably have everyone on your side.

What he said.

You have a keeper deadline for a reason. Sorry about his luck.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.
