Napoli or Soto??? WHIR!!!

I would drop Blanton and pick up Soto, then I would play the matchups and check the lineups before games. That way you can see if Napoli gets more time at DH this season and/or if Soto bounces back from a disappointing season, and you would get the benefit of the extra counting stats and not wasting games played. If both do well, then you always have the option of dealing one to upgrade another position later in the season.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I think Blanton is overvalued anyway. Not to mention, rostering two catchers seems almost a must these days.

Agree. Soto and Napoli. But if you have to choose, Soto is your man. Hootie is correct in that Napoli plays bad defense which means he will be lucky to get over 350 at bats. Soto also had a bad BABIP plus an injury. He should easily surpass last years numbers and I wouldn't be surprised if he matched his rookie year. I am very surprised that Soto went undrafted as most fantasy owners know this about Soto and is being drafted as a starter.
