Who is Kakes? If you're talking Nick Markakis, definately go with Cain. Cain is a top 15 SP, definately worth more than a top 30 OF. ;-D

Is there really a big reason not to type the player's actual name?

Markakis over Cain easily. Cain was lucky last year. Expect his era to rise. Markakis is 27. He hasn't hit his ceiling.

I hate this Cain lucky crap...hes pitched almost 5 full season, was a huge prospect, has always been good.....finally put it all together last year....ya 2.89 maybe is too low an era, but 3.30 is no way outa the ? this guy is a stud.....plus he was a major prospect...why does every say hes so oooooolucky.....ya his strand rate was 81 % instead of his usal 75? why is that a bads thing honestly?

Looks like your mind was made up before you made the thread? So why make the tread?

Cain is good, but he was still LUCKY last year. He had a 27% hit rate %. 30% is normal. He had a 80% strand rate. 75% is normal. So his xERA was 4.04. He might be around 3.75 this year.

The real concern is his K/9 has dropped from 8.5 to 7.1.
