Need help ranking these best available...WHIR

Postby NickC19 » Sat Mar 20, 2010 1:03 pm

This is a 12-team, H2H points keeper league. My team going into the draft is:

OF - Kemp
OF - Holliday
1B - Fielder
3B - Aramis
SP - Greinke
SP - Peavy

Not sure what direction to go in with my first pick (5th pick in round). Based on my team, how would yall rank these players who look to be the best available?:

Jeter
McCann
Werth
Dunn
Ubaldo
Carpenter
Nolasco
Morales
Span
Choo

edited to add Span and Choo

WHIR...

I would rank the top 5 as: Dunn, Werth, McCann, Jeter and Carpenter. I really like Dunn in points leagues because his low avg isn't a killer.

I agree with Dabeej on the rankings, but I would not draft a SP if I were you having 2 already. Hopefully someone ahead of your will brag a SP leaving you one of the top 4 hitters.

I agree, in a pts league, I would rank Dunn 1st. SP's will be plentiful in the later rounds, so I wouldn't take one early. After Dunn, I'd go with Werth, Jeter, then McCann... in that order
