Keeper League Trade Offered

Postby CDAG02 » Sat Mar 20, 2010 12:44 pm

10 team, 10 player keeper league, H2H

We draft tomorrow and I've been offered the following trade:

My Miguel Cabrera and Robinson Cano
for
Jimmy Rollins and Ian Kinsler

My keepers are:

Pablo Sandoval
Ryan Howard
Robinson Cano
Jose Reyes
Miguel Cabrera
Matt Kemp
Justin Upton
Torii Hunter
CC Sabathia
Felix Hernandez

Would this trade help me out at all? With Miggy now at 1B, I would have to put him or Howard at the utility spot. I'm a little concerned about the health of Reyes. I'm leaning toward not accepting but would like some input.

I would highly consider taking this deal. Kinsler is a big upgrade over Cano and you still have Howard at 1B. I am also worried about Reyes holding up and even if he does you have 2 great players and you could put one at UTIL.

I'm really tempted to take it but just concerned about the hit I'll take in batting average going from two .300 hitters to two .270 hitters. HR's are about a wash and I will get more speed. Any other thoughts0

I think I would do the deal. The Avg could hurt but they won't kill you either. But the health of Reyes is worrisome and would give you the ability to trade him once he gets healthy. Kinsler is a stud 2B if he can stay healthy all year.

What about swapping Howard for MCab? That would help your avg a lot and should give you very similar numbers every where else.
