What to target first WHIR

Postby Guzman24 » Sat Mar 20, 2010 2:51 am

12 team H2H 5x5 OBP instead of AVG 8 Keepers

Draft is coming up and I'm in a bit of a jam with no picks in the first two rounds. I traded them away last year as I was in the hunt for the championship and ran into some injury issues. Luckily the gamble paid off as I won the league but now I have to deal with being handicapped at the draft this year. I do however have two 3rd round picks and two 4th round picks. Looking at my keepers, what would you target first? Should I be looking at the best available OF or would you look for another SP? Unfortunately I can't list available players as we only declare our keepers on draft day.

Here's my lineup as it stands right now:

C
1B Howard
2B Utley
SS Reyes (DL)
3B Arod
OF Kemp
OF
OF
UT Reynolds

SP (3 slots each week) Verlander, J.Johnson
RP (2 slots each week)
P (2 slots each week)

I'm going for the best available OF, your SP duo is pretty strong and I like some of the mid to late round options this year.

Go best available anywhere. No reason to start making decisions now before you even know who is available. A lot can happen in two rounds so just play the waiting game.

Agreed. I may look at an elite closer if available too, but OF would be the preference.
