I do like the deal as I think McCutchen is going to be really good and Heyward looks to be on the same path. Problem comes with your SP which will take a big hit with the loss of Lester. As long as you don't mind not having a pitching staff then I would do the deal.

due to the talent alone I do this although losing Lester hurts your pitching. But in H2H I prefer hitters even more so good trade.

I agree. You'll miss Lester, but this deal makes sense. Pull the trigger. Good luck.

I am actually planning on using mccutchen to get a pitcher comparable to lester. So ultimately in the end I will be trading ludwick for heyward. I think it's a pretty solid plan. I know a ton of guys that would love to have mccutchen.
