Will my pitching be in too much trouble after this trade?
if i can get him to also put in the deal either Liriano or E. Santana would that make it good??

I would make this deal. Zimmerman and Wright is a wash, Utley is a far better 2B than Zobrist and while I really like Gallardo, he's a young upside pitcher the same as Buchholz, but Gallardo will face other teams aces Buchholz will face other teams 4/5 SPs.

Yes, do the trade. And yes, toss in Cano for another SP. I like Zimmerman over Wright.

Unless you know you can get a top SP for Cano, I don't like this deal. Losing Gallardo hurts your SP too much. I'd prefer Utley/Zim to Zobrist/Wright, but not at the expense of your top starter.

I would pull the trigger for Utley/Zimmerman over Wright/Zobrist any day. Throwing in Gallardo makes it a more even trade for him. I would counter with another pitcher to see if he bites.
