According to Espn.com he's being shut down 5-7 days for 'tennis elbow'. Soreness in his pitching elbow... sounds scary! :-o

He just had to leave the game when he pushed off the mound to cover first base...looks like he tweaked his knee or ankle. I hope it's nothing serious, but they came out and talked to him...and he wasn't allowed to throw another pitch. He was definitely favoring one leg when he walked off. :-o

That's a scary thought. Outside his rookie year where he was able to deceive people with his delivery, I don't have the confidence that he has the stuff to be a closer. The A's really need Wuertz and Devine to get healthy.
