Entering Ninth Round: Lee or Berkman --Hurry--

Postby ChicagoStunt20 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:38 am

I need a 1B and there is only one other team without a 1B at this point in our draft.
Head to head Stats: R, Singles, Doubles, Triples, Hr, RBI, SB, TB, AVG

I was leaning more towards Lee, but I have heard the theory on Berkman's return year comebacks. Any suggestions? I have about an hour until my pick. It's a keeper league, FYI. I likely wouldn't keep either of them anyway

I'd say go with Berkman, he's a better hitter. Only thing is that he had arthroscopic knee surgery, but they say he's back with the team. So he on course to start the season on time.

Berkman is the more reliable choice (if he can overcome this injury). Doode has been more consistent year over year. Good luck!

Grab Carlos Lee now, and put Jorge Cantu/Adam LaRoche on your radar much later. I think I prefer that combo to Lance Berkman now and a scrub OF bat around the ADP of Cantu/LaRoche.

No it's Derek Lee, not Carlos Lee. I need a 1B...

If your team is mainly safe to this point, take Berkman. If you are already taking on any level of risk (Kinsler, etc.) go with Lee. Berkman has higher upside if he is healthy.

Take a look at mine!
