At the moment I'm trying to decide whether to keep Nathan or Bedard as my 17th keeper. Whoever I dropped I would try to get back at the 14th/15th pick in the supplemental draft. But I've been offered Manny Ramirez and Rafael Soriano for Bobby Abreu and Erik Bedard by a manager who needs a RF badly and also wants Bedard. If I made this deal I would then drop Nathan and keep both Manny and Soriano. Manny would give me a permanent LF so I wouldn't have to worry about Abreu playing 15 or so games at LF this season so he's eligible there for 2011, and Soriano paired with Cordero would help ease the pain of the Nathan trade. But I expect Abreu to be better than Manny and have more value as a keeper, and I worry about trading for closers in keeper league based on their volatile long term value. Plus I'm a big Bedard fan and think I could get him with the 15th pick if I dropped him. So what do you think? Would you make the deal? He also has Francisco Rodriguez, would you demand him instead of Soriano? Need to decide on this deal in the next 22 hours, thanks!
