Major Keeper Decision

Postby hbomber » Sun Mar 14, 2010 8:50 pm

6x6 keeper league. added ops and quality starts. We can keep 15 years and here are my keepers
Napoli 1
Reynolds 1
Pedroia 2
Bartlett 1
Zimm 2
Kemp 2
Lind 1
Cliff Lee 2
Ardsama 1

Here is my problem. I also Have Kershaw 2 and Borbon 1. I can not keep both as I only have 2 years left. I am high on both guys. There is very little quality pitching available in the draft and I will not be able to get a quality closer as most are kept. Do I drop Aardsama and risk grinding out saves on the waiver. Do I throw Kershaw and his 200 k's and keep Borbon and Happ.

Kershaw in a overwhelming landslide over Borbon/Happ. Do NOT let him go.

I would drop Napoli and keep Kershaw and Borbon. There are a lot of C who give you similar value and Napoli is nice and all but I don't know if he will get enough at bats to make him worth keeping.

I agree with this statement. Scioscia loves Mathis for some reason and if it continues, Napoli won't reach 400 ABs anytime soon.
