The trade would be his t. lincecum for my m. kemp.
We haven't drafted yet but my other keepers are the following (12 team league): Derek Jeter Brandon Phillips Carlos Lee Matt Cain (Maybe. Haven't decided yet)

Secondly, how big is your league, whats your scoring type and how many of each starting position do you have???
Without me seeing that, it's really hard to give you a definitive answer dude...
+1
Straight value you are looking at giving up the #2 OF overall for the #1 SP overall. In that case I would stick with Kemp.
But like previously posted, post your League size, League scoring type and your starting positions. Also was your best SP Cain? And no youth in your bats? What are the keeper requirements? This info would be better to give to get a much more solid answer. I see your just starting out on here so this is the learning curve, but post that information for better answers! Good luck!
My league is a 12 team league. 19 roster spots (C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, CI, MI, 3 OF, and Utility for hitting. 5 SP's, 3 RP's for pitching)
whats your scoring type
Scoring type is 6 Hitting & 6 Pitching categories. Points accumulate over the season. Person with most points at the end wins: For hitting...AVG, HR, OPS, R, RBI, SB For pitching...ERA, K, W, L, S, WHIP
Can I see your entire roster from years end...
Here's my year end roster (my current keeper possibilities are marked with an asterisk.: Batters:
* Phillips, Brandon 2B CIN * Jeter, Derek SS NYY * Lee, Carlos N. LF HOU * Kemp, Matt CF LA Pierzynski, A.J. C CHW Helton, Todd 1B COL Feliz, Pedro 3B HOU Callaspo, Alberto 2B KC Butler, Billy 1B KC Abreu, Bobby RF ANA Hunter, Torii CF ANA Swisher, Nick CF NYY Drew, J.D. RF BOS Guillen, Carlos LF DET Rasmus, Colby CF STL Wallace, Brett 3B TOR
Pitchers:
* Billingsley, Chad SP LA * Cain, Matt SP SF (possible keeper. Not positive I should keep him) Baker, Scott SP MIN Hamels, Cole SP PHI Pineiro, Joel SP ANA MacDougal, Mike RP WAS Marmol, Carlos RP CHC Nunez, Leo RP FLA Scherzer, Max SP DET Lindstrom, Matt RP HOU
SP: Hamels (He doesn't have to be the #1 on his team anymore...) RP:
If you're able to, try and trade for a better SP or final keeper instead of Jeter if possible... I'm keeping Butler over Lee because of the decline in overall production from Lee and age...
I may also just take a chance and go with this, then worry about nothing but hitting to start the draft... Kemp Jeter Phillips Billingsley Hamels Cain
Again, if you choose to go with the second set of keepers your top picks HAVE to be bats. I personally would probably go with the 2nd set of keepers as I think all three are locks for 13-16 W, Hamels and Cain for around 190 Ks apeice, Bills for 200 Ks and all with ERAs under 3.60...Then hitting is a MUST in the top rounds!

Based on his original post, I believe he can only keep 5...

Yes sorry, my brain was going faster then my fingers...
Take Cain off both lists and keep the exact same information for both...
