I'm attempting to decide which 2 players I keep for this year, as our league is replacing some owners and is giving them a chance to build a new team.

I'm thinking Kinsler and Tulo, as they are both elite players at thin positions, but I'd like some input from you guys about that. Also, I really want Strasburg long term (future years), but not sure how long to wait before drafting him. I draft 10th, as I won our league last year.

Appreciate any help you can give!

C,1B,2B,SS,3B,OF,OF,OF,U,DH,7 Pitchers Start Each Week

27 Man ML Roster, 1 Minor Leaguer for future

Batters: Morneau, Kinsler, Tulo, Sizemore, Quentin, A. Jones, Abreu, Zobrist, ARam, Wieters, Butler, Figgins, Adam LaRoche
Pitchers: Nolasco, Garza, Dempster, Slowey, Baker, Soria, Porcello, Carpenter, Hudson, Tillman, Holland, Hughes, Morrow, Niemann, Strasburg (minor)

I'd be careful not to overpay for Strasburg. In a keeper league someone is going to really want him and will overpay to get him. The same thing happened with Reggie Bush in fantasy football when he came out of college. I saw him go in a mid 20's in a few keeper league drafts his rookie season. I'm not saying the same thing will happen with Strasburg (I see him as much more of a sure thing) but you'd still be unlikely to get good value where you'd have to draft him. I think you'd be better off taking a more proven player at that time.

I think it will be a while before Strasburg could be considered a good keeper in a 2 man keeper league. That day may well come, but it's highly unlikely to be as soon as next season.
