12 team H2H with extra cats. Thoughts?

Postby lane_anasazi2 » Fri Mar 12, 2010 12:55 am

This is a 12 team H2H league that's 7x7. The extra cats are BB and OPS for hitting and Losses and K/9 for pitching.

Since the hitting cats double up walks and power and pitching doubles up K's, my strategy was to punt AVG (although it's H2H, so it's actually pretty hard to completely punt AVG), SB, and saves. I went with a bunch of SP's and hope to pick up saves off the wire as the season gets going.

Anyway, let me know what you think. Leave a link if you want and I'll take a look at yours.

First off thanks for your two cents on my posting.

I really like your hitting, you have lots of guys I'm high on... Jay Bruce is going to club 30+ jacks this year with a respectable average and high RBI and R as well he may even contribute 10 SBs... he's going to be a 2nd rounder in 2011. I think Drew will have a strong year at SS, obviously guys like granderson and howard are studs and agon to. i really like some of your SPs... ubaldo, garza, brett anderson, sheets all i tihnk will have fine years.. sanchez and buchholz have high potential dice-k may be servicable. im skeptical about your SV situation but if oyu can pluck a CL or two from the WW you will be fine. overall i think its a very strong roster, you should content as is..

I like nick Johnson in all OBP leagues, and i think he has a bumped value in OPS league, if he hits in the 2 hole for the yankees i could see him hitting 15+bombs (will see how the park plays this year they just knocked down the old yankee stadium on Wednesday) knocking in a bunch and scoring a TON of runs.

Pitching staff are all guys on my "like" list, except Dice-k, only because he burnt me last year i'm sure he is value this year but you won't see him on any of my rosters.
