Hey Guys,
I got Markakis coming off a decent year as a 6th rounder (all the sites say ADP is around 6,7,8) and Ricky Nolasco as a 10th (ADP around 9) i want to keep Markakis but i need a 3rd party insight...thanks!!

What does the rest of your roster look like? (league scoring helps too). I have my doubts about Markakis (small doubts mind you), and I like Nolasco a lot, but how they fit with the rest of your guys makes a big difference. I have Nolasco ranked up at the top of the 8th round too, rather than the 9th, so I'd be looking more at the fine shadings here than guys who have Nolasco ranked a round or two later.
In general though I really like the idea of Nolasco as a 10th round keeper. Makakis in the 6th is only decent value IMO, but he's also a better player.

Its a pretty basic scoring league 5x5, i decided to go with Nolasco, for the pure fact that his numbers are so deceiving due to the fact he had a horrible 1st half (when i picked him up and sat on him while he was in AAA) hes an automatic 200ks and his ERA should come back to around 3.50 and hes always had a low whip. Markakis is what he is a .295 guy 20 HRs 100 RBI 5-10 SBs i feel like i can get better value out of a 6th rounder..thanks for the feedback!!

I think you made the right choice with Nolasco.
Markakis is a good player, but I think he is what he is, in fact he may have regressed a little. There was so much hype around him (from a fantasy perspective) that he just became way overvalued. He is an OF who cant go 290 20-100. Nice but definitely nothing special.
