Jose is looking like a stud defensive player for the RedSox, but do you think he has the bat to be a MLB player?

From what I've read, he projects as a #9 hitter. .250 average, 5-10 HR, 20-30 steals. Nothing dramatic, but, of course you never know. I think best case scenario is he ends up as a David Eckstein type player offensively. BUT, I've heard he's unbelievable defensively.
