I think it's a yes, but could you talk down the SP price.

Long-term, I do think Tulo trounces Morales. Like UFC style thrashing.

Wright is for me still Longoria class, and this deal seems predicated on this being a downgrade. I don't think it is (or at least, I don't it's much of one); therefore, I think you win.

Still, you're giving up two solids arms for one. You aren't keeping any leaving this year, even Kershaw, so Matusz, a rookie in the AL East is relatively fungible while you get your forever SS.

For me, I'd almost recommend pulling out your two SP, adding in Rollins (nicely upgraded), and getting another SP upgrade for your trouble. Saves you having to find arms for Rollins post-trade anyways, and Kershaw is nice.

If he's got two SS or something, try to save Wandy at the expense of a Gordon or Davis or Pierre. You aren't keeping or playing them anyways.

What if we made it

I give: Granderson/W Rodriguez/ Longoria/ Morales
I Get: Kershaw/Wright/Tulo and one of the following ( N Morgan, R Ludwick, C Quentin)

Is that better? He doesnt like the first deal i wrote about anymore too much

Eesh, no. I know what you're trying to do here: you want to be set at SS for years and years, but you could do that without selling the farm.

Try Rollins/Morales/Longoria/Matusz for Kershaw/Wright/Tulo.

If you can get the first deal, you're getting the best value. Not too crazy about the second deal myself.

I agree, but I'd still try to shoot a little higher in the SP area...especially since you'll have 2 SS in Tulo and Rollins. I know you have Votto at your UTL spot, but if 1 of: Votto, Rollins, & Tulo is going to be benched at any given time, I'd rather get a solid SP in return for Rollins to roster the best team every day.

First offer is definitely the move I would make for you....although it looks like you may have been countered with the Granderson trade which I don't like for you.

Adding Tulo means you can look to move Rollins which should net you another solid SP, so I like that idea as well
