Definitely Jimenez. I love Cardinals and Carpenter but in Fantasy, it is a different story. There are too many variables in Carpenter, while promising upside for Jimenez.

just a guess, but im gonna say hes been in the league for a while, and has collected players from teams leaving,
OR
has been losing for a while and traded pieces to teams in the hunt for better keepers
as for the question, i like carp
Actually...if you must know this is the 2nd year of the keeper, and I won last year. Traded Lackey for Dunn last year, benefitted from some quirky rules and kept Tex, Aramis, Sandoval (was able to protect as a prospect due to a loophole), Rollins, Bay, Dunn, Victorino, Wainwright, Carpenter, Billingsley, Josh Johnson. Another quirky rule...got the #1 pick in the redraft because I won and took Adam Jones from the guy with the #2. Traded JJ, Jones and Aramis for Kinsler, Cruz and 2.11 (I already had 2.12 and 3.1). Then jumped on a too good to be true offer of my Victorino and a 4th for Votto and a 7th. To be frank...I was extremely lucky haha.
Thanks for all the help so far!! As split as it is...
I'd rather have Ubaldo over Carpenter now and it's not even close IMO, let alone beyond this year. Ubaldo has maintained a 50%+ groundball rate and he even managed to pitch better at Coors than away from home (think that's room for improvement). As the year had gone on, his velocity was better as well.
Getting Broxton on the side over Bailey is a nice upgrade for you, if nothing else, for the sake of security and track record.
