That is very hard not to bite....all three of those guys could potentially be studs. I guess that you just need to decide if that is worth losing Lester.

I'm of the thought that you don't trade what you already have for a bunch of prospects. If this is a re-building year for you, I'd say do it. But this year, Jon Lester is your bonafide ace. I don't see a staff led by Wandy, Danks, Jurrjens, and then Kuroda/Guthrie doing that much damage. You will have to hit a few FA pitchers right on the head in order to lose Lester and be competitive in pitching this year.
Definately take the a-rod deal i think you win this deal. I really think you should consider getting rid of rios, he is garbage. I watched him play in toronto for years and ever since his home run derby appearance he has been nothing but streaky at best. There has to be a better prospect to fill the roster spot with.
I am so torn now. half of you guys say a rod, but some of you say miggy. I know a rod is almost ten years older but I still think he has a lot in the tank. Also he can steal close to 20 base. On the other hand miggy has youth and some upside. Hmmm

Where is Sandoval eligible in your league. I know in Yahoo he is eligible at 1B and 3B so that you can slide him right into first and A-Rod at 3rd. I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I think I would still go with A-Rod. I don't see a decline in A-Rod in the next 2-3 years and that is usually my time frame for a dynasty league. I don't like to project too far into the future and worry about who will be better 5,6,7 years from now. Too much can happen in that time.
Once you get Arod or Mcab, yeah, I think you have a really good shot at competing this year. Abreu will also help your outfield by quite a bit. Just keep your eyes and ears open for some 2B/SS help, as I'm not the biggest fan of Aki or Theriot. If you can also package some of your pitching prospects for a big-name starting pitcher for this year, I would do that too.
