Good Trade or Bad Trade?

Postby rasto21585 » Mon Mar 08, 2010 4:44 pm

I was offered a-rod and bobby abreu for morneau and carlos lee and was wondering if this is an offer I should accept. Also I could target miguel cabreral instead of a rod in this trade. What ya guys think?

I would do this trade in a heart beat. You are getting a top 4 pick in A-Rod and you are only given up Lee and Morneau two guys who even in a 20 team league are probably 2nd round and 3rd round material.

Hurry and pull the trigger.

Plus he is throwing in Abreu!

In my opinion, I would try for MCab over ARod in your case, you already have a solid, young 3b in Sandoval and you won't have an eligible 1b next year if you trade morneau......BUT.....arod might be worth it, too

I would also take Abreu over Lee because they are almost the same age, Abreu is on a better team, gets on base more, and has more speed.

Could use your opinion here: viewtopic.php?t=402586

I would jump all over ARod in this deal.

Since this is a dynasty league, you have to consider age. MCab will be better for a lot longer than ARod. Plus, like was said before you won't really have a solid 1B without Morneau.

If there's anything you can do to upgrade your current 2B/SS situation, go for it.

There is a guy in my league that has expressed some interest in jon lester. I am thinking of doing a trade where I send lester, headley and avila for heyward, wade davis and alcides escobar. How does that sound?

Don't do this, but do the Arod or Mcab trade quickly.
