Hey here's the team I drafted yesterday standard 5X5 categories 12 Team league H2H

SP Justin Verlander DET (5) SP Wandy Rodriguez HOU (7) RP Joakim Soria KC (8) RP Brian Fuentes LAA (11) P David Aardsma SEA (14) P Jared Weaver LAA (9) P Brandon Webb ARZ (15) BN Ricky Romero TOR (16) BN Scott Kazmir LAA (18) BN Ted Lilly CHC (19) BN Joba Chamberlain NYY (20)
What do you guys think I know Webb is starting the season on the DL but at the round I got him in I think it's well worth the risk.
There were 4 guys I really wanted to get and got all 4 of them Ellsbury or Crawford - I had the choice of either one of them I chose Ellsbury Sandoval Zobriest Granderson
I think you have a good mix of power & speed in your hitters. You could probably upg a little at the UTL slot, but by simply following who's hot on the WW, you'll be fine.
I really like your pitching too. I'm targeting Webb in my leagues too with a late round pick. I think he still has it in him to bounce back and is tough to match his upside in the 15th round. Not to mention you're not really relying on him as he's like your 4th or 5th SP anyway.
I think your hitting is very strong untill you get to your Util and bench but thats not a hugeeee problem. And behind Weaver your pitching has some questions but those could all be fine drung the season as well. help me out? viewtopic.php?f=29&t=402469
I agree with others about offense being solid. Not that worried about util. I would definitely upgrade bench...not big on Itzuris at all this year(i would want a player with upside or who will have regular at bats, which i don't see Itzuris having all season). But that isn't a big problem either.
Pitching is pretty solid too! I also like Webb at a discounted price! Huge upside! I'm REALLY,REALLY liking Kazmir to have a nice rebound year w/Angels!!! Overall, nice job. Little nicks here and there that can be easily patched (if not now, then during season) with a few waiver wire/free agent moves. You should do well! Good luck! check mine:

Izturis was a meh pick I couldnt decide between what was left and that's what the autopick gave me when my time was left. I do plan on dropping him for someone during the year I have great luck with waivers during the year I have great luck with waivers during the season I got Zobriest and Street last year off waivers.
For a 12-teamer, you got a very solid squad. As other have pointed out, dump Izturis for someone with some pop or more value. Webb was a calculated risk that has hue upside low downside. Even if he doesn't pitch or is lousy, the pick didn't kill you at 15.
I am the poster's cousin who turned him on to this site.
Your team is by far the best team you've had out of a draft. Other than UTIL your team is very good everywhere else. On the pitching side I'd try to trade Webb and the back of your rotation isn't stellar but overall great job! I hope we can both make the playoffs for once.
