R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP

Who would you rather have?

I would probably keep Ellsbury, mainly because he is going higher in drafts, but you can't really go wrong with either of them IMO.

They both should score about 100 Runs, so that category is a wash.

Ellsbury will have 50-60 more SB's, while Markakis will have 30-40 more RBI's, 10-15 more HR's, and .10-.30 more points in OBP. I think Markakis is very slightly better in this format, but since we don't know your other keepers and Ellsbury is going higher in drafts, you could go either way.

I'd personally go Markakis.

Markakis. SBs are much more common than they were a few years ago. You can probably find a guy or a few guys to help you in that category later in the draft.

Markakis is better in that format, he can put up a .380+ OBP every year, but based on ADP, I think I'd rather take Ellsbury, he's not much of a real downgrade, purely opinion, and you can shop him for a better player if you have second thoughts.

I'm surprised there's so much support for Markakis here. I'd take Ells easily.

I'd take Ells. Markakis' numbers might give him a slight edge, but Ellsbury has a MUCH better cast around him.
