I think you get the best player with Votto. I don't like Lackey this year, moving to Fenway and the AL East, he may get you wins, but I think his ERA and WHIP will increase, and can Hamilton remain healthy???. Alex Gordon has a broken thumb and could be out for 4 weeks, so that may be something to consider. I actually like Troy Glaus as a sleeper this year, not sure if he has 3B eligibility, but the guy hit 30 HR a year ago.

That's why I offered Hamilton and Lackey, both big name players which I feel concerns for both in regards to home park and durability, also Helton's age does concern me as well

I wouldn't. You lose too much in Hamilton/Lackey.

Hadn't heard this about Gordon which means stay away. Regardless this isn't the deal for you. Gordon is hardly a guy to go after this year and you are overpaying for him and Votto. I like Votto a lot but I don't think Lackey takes that much of a step back for this to benefit you.
