Jeter vs Yunel Escobar...should i trade jeter ...WHIR

I was thinking of proposing a trade for escobar...and giving up jeter...not because i think escobar is beter...i dont...jeter is...but how much better....if i offer a trade to this owner...i bet he would take it...i give jeter ..i get escobar and his next 3 picks and he gets my last 3...heres the thought ...it is late in the draft...round 10 of 15...But...i could still get some rp's thta are decent...he has 2 picks before my next one...
am i wasting jeter?

I dunno they are similar, but Escobar is younger and could have a better year, remember jeter's age if this is a keeper league

In reghards to draft strategy I would trade Jeter for Escobar, Escobar will be 27 this season and entering his prime and has a .300 bat and Jeter power, speed is the only sacrifice, plus as you state it would alos position you beter in the draft, also keep in mind that Jeter is going to be 36, but then it also depeends on the rest of your roster as well
