I play in three private leagues, but pick up two Yahoo public H2H Cat leagues for a change of pace.

How do you think the addition of a second Util player and the new weekly acquisition limit will affect play this year?

i havnt signed up yet for any public yahoo leagues, but what is the new weekly acquisition limit? every public yahoo league has a setting limit on how many moves you can make in a week?

Both of my public H2h leagues have a "max acquisitions per week" limit of 6.

About the two UTIL positions... am I crazy for reaching for a second 1B in the first 5 or 6 rounds to fill one of those UTIL position?

I realize I am giving up value elsewhere, but unless you hit waiver wire gold, the value of a second 1B to put up 100-30-100-.300 over a typical late round OF or WW pickup (more in the 80-20-80-.270 range at best) is enticing. Thoughts?

I tried that strategy in one of the two leagues. In that league I drafted my first SP in round 7 and my second in round 10 and I felt I had to reach for both. At the end of the draft it appears I have a significant edge in HR, R and RBI, but have a disadvantage in Ks and a lesser disadvantage in ERA.

Is it now a must strategy to keep 1 or 2 moves until FRI or SAT for a waiver claim on a dropped stud no matter what injuries or disciplinary actions my players have to deal with during the week?
