No brainer Dynasty trade, right?

Postby bigoz89 » Sat Mar 06, 2010 9:53 pm

This is a dynasty league with no contracts or $ values.

My Neftali Feliz and Max Scherzer for his Wainwright or Lester.

I should do that deal, right? Who would you prefer between Wainwright and Lester?

I think I would do that deal for Wainwright. Feliz has all the potential in the world but until you know how Texas will handle him he is hard to project. Plus I am not sure he can handle 200+ innings, plus he plays home games in a HR derby ballpark.

thanks for your help on mine. I too would do the deal and I would choose Wainwright. I don't think you could go wrong with Lester either though. They're pretty close in my mind, but with Wainwright in a much tamer division I have to go with him.

I could use a few more opinions. I am having a hard time giving up Feliz for some reason!

The deal is now Scherzer and Feliz for Wainwright.

Any more thoughts?

I would do the deal for Lester...he's being drafted as a top 15 SP THIS YEAR and he's far younger than Wainwright.

thanks for the help with mine ;-D

I would do the trade for Wainwright. You are getting a guy that is a proven top of the rotation fantasy stud for two guys who while they have upside have not really proven much yet.

Although it would be hard for me to part with those 2 young pitchers, I think you have to make the deal for either of those studs. I give Lester a slight edge over Wainwright in a dynasty league because he is 3 years younger.

I'd bite on the deal, but I am giving certain edge to Lester as my intended target. If it was me.
