Jon Rauch is an interesting pick up too.. he's got the most career saves of anyone on that roster... take a look and see if the Twins go after John Smoltz as a flyer to be a closer again too.. bummer though
I hadn't even consiildered the possibility that the Twins would consider bringing in someone like Smoltz, but that is an intruiging idea. Half the experts are saying Rauch, the other half Gutierrez. Who knows?

Maybe they trade for H Bell? I picked up Adams today just in case that happens.
Looks like TheInsidePitch.com changed from Guerrier to Rauch as 1st in line in the last few hours. Talk about not holding to your guns, or have they found out something we don't?
I guess Rauch could be the better option, given that he's done it before and his relatively low HR/9 number compared to Guerrier. He also tends to strike out more batters which is what you look for more often in a closer. Guerrier had a good year last year, it's too bad if they don't give him an opportunity.
I be damned if TheInsidePitch.com didn't change it a 2nd time. Now Guerrier is back in front of Rauch. What's wrong with this guy? He can't seem to make a commitment. I usually think highly of this guy's list, but this is getting ridiculous.
