KEEP/TRADE/DRAFT Peavy, ARam, Lee * WILL REPLY *

Postby Seanyfever » Fri Mar 05, 2010 11:45 pm

I have a few players I can trade. I also have the first pick in draft after 11 keepers each in a 14 team league. I am looking at over value alone. I am keep one. Trade one. And then draft one with my first pick in draft.

How do you see them? "KEEP. TRADE. DRAFT."

Jake Peavy
Derrick Lee
Aramis Ramirez

I'll reply to any posts. Thanks Cafe brothers.

Basically since you have the first pick its like having 2 keeper spots so I would say keep Ramirez and Lee to fill your corner spots and trade Peavy.

It may shed light. I am planning on keeping the following.

14 Team League. Head to Head.
Compete in following 6x6 areas:
OBP H HR RBI R SB
WHIP IP ERA SO W SV

MY ROSTER
1B Cabrera, Miguel
3B Ramirez, Aramis >>> Big lean to keep/draft
SS Ramirez, Hanley
OF Hamilton, Josh
OF Braun, Ryan
OF Matt Holiday
2B/OF Zorbist, Ben
SP Santana, Johan
SP Verlander, Justin
CP Nathan Joe

I can keep one. Draft one. Trade one. I am tempted to trade Lee.
Lee, Derrick
Peavy, Jake
Ramirez, Aramis

I best show. I know I have great lineup. Still want value in keeper, draft, and trade. Thanks for posts.

Would definitely keep ARam. To me the other two are a toss up but I usually go with the hitter.... trade Peavy

I would keep ARam for sure. Lee is not likely to repeat last year, and Peavy is an injury concern, and is no longer in the comfy confines of Petco.

Why not deal both of them, and look to draft someone else at the #1 overall?

I definitely keep A-Ram and would look to see about trading the other two. With Cabrera already locking down your 1B slot the need to keep Lee around is alot less. I would see if I could trade him to address another area on your team.

To me Peavy, with the injury concern and hitter friendly park is a crapshoot. If I could get good value for him I would take it.

If you have to trade away one, go with Lee. You have 1B filled, he's getting older and almost certainly won't repeat his numbers from last year.
