First draft of 2010 - be brutally honest

Postby Grizzlies » Thu Mar 04, 2010 5:51 pm

Here's my first draft of the year - 10-team H2H league
I had the fifth pick and it seemed like every guy (or guys) I was targeting got taken right before my pick.
I don't love this team - weak pitching all around, and I don't love my SS or OF.

Here are the stat categories:
Batters Stat Categories: R, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB
Pitchers Stat Categories: W, CG, Shutouts , SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP

C - Russell Martin (C)
1B - Miguel Cabrera (1B),David Ortiz (1B)
2B - Brandon Phillips (2B)
SS - Alexei Ramírez (SS),Stephen Drew (SS)
3B - Álex Rodríguez (3B),Jhonny Peralta (3B,SS)
OF - Jason Bay (OF),Shin Soo Choo (OF),Manny Ramírez (OF),Carlos Lee (OF),Jay Bruce (OF),Corey Hart (OF)
SP - Cliff Lee (SP),Jon Lester (SP),Matt Cain (SP),Jair Jurrjens (SP),Kevin Slowey (SP),Randy Wolf (SP)
RP - Francisco Cordero (RP),Brian Fuentes (RP),Jason Frasor (RP)

For the most part your offense is going to be great. Arod and Miggy on the same team is ideal and exactly what I am going to try and do in my next draft coming up. Your starters are fine I think but your relief pitching is pretty brutal. The good thing is, you can chase saves throughout the season. At shortstop, Drew has the potential to be really good if he could just put it all together and Alexei is not spectacular but decent all around, I wouldn't be to concerned on that one.

help with mine please?
