Does an OPS league sound interesting?

We need a couple new owners for our league. Respond to this post if interested!

Here are the details (you can also see them and apply to the league at http://www.rotoresume.com/viewResume/league/id/830):

- 5x5 Mixed Roto, using OPS instead of BA. We feel this better represents a hitter's value because in our league BBs, 2Bs, and 3Bs count for something!
- Auction draft, 12 teams, 23 starters, 6 reserves, 1 Catcher and 2 UTILs, weekly FAAB
- Keep up to 4 keepers per year with a $3 increase from original price the first time, $5 each additional year kept.
- League buy-in of $40, plus CBS Commish fee split by league (typically ~$12/team). Payout split 50-30-20 for top 3 finishers.

We need 2 or 3 more owners. The good part about this is that 6 teams are being replaced (3-4 spots have been filled), so half of the league's keepers from last year will be available for new owners to choose from going into 2010. I'll list some of the best available keepers in the next post.

Since we are replacing six owners, you are guaranteed to get at least 3 of these guys. And this list doesn't include players on holdover rosters that we might make available in a sort of expansion draft, nor does it include plenty of other keepable players that I didn't think were quite worth listing, but you might.

The point is that if you join this league you are not forced to take over a dead team -- you are allowed to draft up to 5 keepers from the pool of all dead teams (holdover teams only can keep 4), so you get a good head start as a new owner.
