Does this strategy work?

I am in a 10 team H2H keeper league. It involves 30 categories including:

pitchers: APP GS IP BBI K QS W L SV HD BAA ERA WHIP K/9 PTW

RP - Rafael Soriano
RP - Nick Massett
SP - Josh Johnson
SP - Clayton Kershaw

BN - Wandy Rodriquez

My focus is on hitters with high OBP and OPS, since it affects so many other stats (extra base hits, total bases, BB, etc.) I don't draft speedsters (although, you can't help but get some SB), since they tend to be one stat fillers in a 15 category league.

With Pitchers set up the way it is, they have a lot of streamable stats which is why I have such a large number of SP on the bench. High strikeout pitchers and a couple command guys in there as well. I punted saves, for the most part. Got Soriano as my only saves pitcher in the draft. Then I picked up 4 middle relievers with my last four picks. Hopefully one of them will turn into a saves getter (ie. Aardsma, Franklin, last year).

Any thing to build upon?

Were ARod, Hanley, and Utley your keepers? Or did you have 3 first round picks? Or is this fake? Weird to see them on the same roster.

I assuming that your draft was an auction draft? saves is all your lacking really I would try to pick up a few more save and waiting around to see if you middle relief players get save oppo's might put you behind. other then that your team looks solid

Yes, we can keep three hitters and two pitchers.

Utley, Hanley and A-Rod were my hitters

Johnson and Kershaw were my pitchers.

Wow, nice job setting yourself up for this year. I also like drafting for OBP, even if its not a stat category it affects multiple areas. Obviously, you are lacking saves, but I have seen your strategy work many times. Is Neftali Feliz on the wire? If so I'd keep an eye on him to take over for Francisco at some time during the year, and he's lights out. Is holds a cat?
