Hey fellas,
Hoping that you could offer some advice...I need to pick 3 keepers. I lose the round they were picked in last year. I have the 3rd pick in the 1st round. Besides my guys, I think the top three on the board will be Tulo, Haren, and a Reyes type guy.
Here are the details of my league:
10 team, points
Breakdown on points:
Hitting
1- 1b; 2 - 2b; 3- 3b; 4 - HR; 1 Run; 2 - RBI; 2 SB; -1 caught stealing; -.5 K; .5 walk; .5 sac fly
Pitching
7 - W; -5 - L; 5- Complete Game; 5 - Shut Out; 1- Inning Pitched; -.5 BB; -.5 Hit; -.5 ER; 1.5 K; 5 Save; -2 Blown Save
Top tier hitters score in the low 700s - high 600s (Tex had 715 last year). Top tier pitchers are high 400s (Lince scored 550 last year).
Basically, I'm predicting that all of your typical top 20 guys will be kept (outside of my guys).
Here are my top guys to keep:
Tex - Round 1
Lincecum - Round 2
Kinsler - Round 3
Kemp - Round 13
Ubaldo - Round 18
J. Up - Round 20
Thanks!!

Ooh tough choice. I'd go Timmy, Kemp, and Upton because it's a keeper league. Both Kemp and Upton could be first round guys in a year or two, and first base is deep. You won't get another 700 point guy, but there should be a 600+ guy sitting around.
Help, please:

I agree, Upton in the 20th is crazy. Also, Kemp in the 13?? Can't pass those up.
I'd rather have Lincecum + 1st rounder than Teix + 2nd, but I think you could go either way and not be faulted. Especially since your first round is the #3, and your second rounder is towards the back of the second round, I'd go Timmy.
Upton
Kemp
Lincecum
