The draft is in two weeks and we have 8 keepers (that hold round value) and 2 rookie keepers that are our last picks.
I'm saying with the possibility I could keep Heyward as a last round pick next year if he finishes with less than 200 ABs and the fact that he is the LeBron James of baseball....
How early is too early for me to pick Heyward in the draft?

I feel like a lot of people are thinking about this and not saying anything.
I will take him in round 9, say I won't!

Polo's right. As good as he will be, he will be 21 only during the season, and there's always the chance he bounces up and down for a year or two. Even happened to Upton.
Only if you don't face any escalation in the round it costs to keep him would you take him as early as you've said. Otherwise, you're just letting him raise to a 1st round cost while he's just getting going.

Draft is coming up soon and I have decided I will take him at pick 98 if he is there.
