Considering he's been in the league for 7 years and won a World Series it seems like kind of a silly question.

I don't think he's ever served in the military, and he's no animal doctor.

My answer to this question is: "What in God's green Earth are you talking about?"

Oh, and yes, since Dontrelle Willis has been playing in the majors since 2003, I think it is safe to call him a veteran. Unless you are wondering about his military service. Then you are on your own.

But something tells me that anyone asking a question like this probably spends a lot of time "on their own..."

definately a veteran...dont think he qualifies as "grizzled" yet though...to be considered a grizzled veteran i believe you need 15+ years of experience and/or a beard that looks like the before shot of a just for men commercial

Agree with everyone else. I can see where someone who has been in the league for 3 years would fall somewhere inbetween rookie and veteran but considering that Willis has been in the league than longer, I'm guessing, the average career I don't know how he's not a veteran.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

D-Train is definitely a veteran. Its all about years of service (6-7 sounds about right), not age.
