Should I trade picks? WHIR

My 1st round pick (5th overall) and my 10th round pick for his 2nd round pick (18th overall) and his 3rd round pick.

I was offered this deal, what do you guys think? 12 team h2h

I wouldn't.
I'd like at least one stud to build a team around.
Like a pyramid, the choices spread out exponentially as you work your way down.

It obviously depends on how your league works, whether you're working with some dynasty/keepers already... A first round pick in a dynasty league where you keep 22 (like in my league) is worth a lot less than 1st overall. If its a brand new draft, then you definitely should not trade away your 1st pick. General rule of thumb, two very good players < one rockstar, especially in h2h. You need your early picks to pick up the Pujols or 5-tool players who anchor your team. If you don't have your first pick until 15th or so (followed by 18th), you are coming in way too late and will regret it.

I agree- 18 is too late to have your first draft pick. if he really wants to move up try and get something out of it, like swap 1st rounders and he throws in a late round pick (like his 10th for your 11th)
