Wile the subjects open... remember lastyr, there was some talk of Beckham playing SS but Uribe was blocking that from happening but we all knew he was the future somewhere on the infield and that he would bump pretty much anyone from their position to takeover when the time was right. Obviously, hes slated to be the everyday Second Baseman to open the season, giving him 3rd n 2nd base eligibility. But is there any chance he grabs some spot starts at SS this year and gains an awesome 2nd, 3rd, n SS flexibility? Hes played SS at a pretty decently high level in college and im not too sure how well hed be at the MLB level but im sure the kid could handle the MI position. Any White Sox fans out there care to chime in and possibly provide some hope to my theory? Thanks for the insight!!!

i havnt heard the new within the last few days, but early in spring training the Mariners had Chone Figgins at 2B with Jose Lopez at 3B. is Figgins going to stay at 2B for the Mariners? if Figgins plays at 2B i think he has more value than just playing 3B.
i noticed in yahoo that Brandon Wood only has CI eligibility but if hes starting at 3B then hes going to gain that.
Placido Polanco will be starting at 3B for Philadelphia, so he will gain 3B eligibility. question on Polanco. is he going to be batting near the top of the order? or is it still going to be Rollins/Victorino/Utley/Howard/ect?
Ackley is penciled in to play 2B in the minors while Yonder Alonso could move to OF,3B, or maybe even catcher. Both are currently in the yahoo database.

Pretty sure Polanco hits 2, dropping Victorino to 7. Rollins/PP/Utley/Howard/Werth/Ibanez/Victorino/Ruiz.
Glaus is another one that has CI only but he'll be adding 1B early on.
Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.

I'm pretty sure that these were dismissed as incoherent Dusty ramblings. Yonder is definitely not moving to C or 3B. Maybe OF but I think once they see Yonder shag a couple of flies out there and then watch Votto out there it will be an easy decision (to keep Yonder at 1B).
Neftali Feliz is working as a starter in camp and there was also a brief mention that CJ Wilson would work as a starter but I can't see him moving out of the pen
edit - so they just talked about it today but I still doubt on anything but OF happening. And I don't see votto going Soriano about a move to LF.

I think Andy LaRoche is going to move to 2B when Pedro Alvarez is ready to man the Pirates hot-corner with Iwamura on the way out or watching from the bench.
