keeper help keep 5 or 8

Postby surlytruckdrivr » Mon Mar 01, 2010 7:51 pm

12 team 5x5 roto. New rule this year, we had been keeping 15, now it's up to 8, and 2 additional at $20 and loss of pick.finished 9th last year sp took a beating. I can keep as few as 5 and possibly have first 3 picks, though that's not likely.

ones in caps are definites, next to consider are Ichiro, Andrus, C Gonzalez
Kazmir, Porcello, Joba. should I keep the 5 and take my chances, or goo to 8. Maybe not keep Papelbon and keep a SP instead. any thoughts. thanks

This looks good. Part of me would think about possibly letting Papelbon go to see who would be around with that extra 1st round pick. Chances are probably decent that you could take Paps if that was the best player available but it would at least give you the ability to see if there was something better.

I would keep these 5 in a 12 team league. The others would all be stretches

Never mind on Ramirez then. Which means 6 keepers. ARod, Morneau, Ichiro, Dunn, Butler and CarGone.
