I'll have the 10th pick in the redraft (finished 3rd last year).
We keep five from a list of 12 players on last year's team.
Here's my list of 12:
Adrian Gonzalez Billy Butler Albert Pujols Lance Berkman Adam Lind Brian Roberts BJ Upton Hunter Pence Cole Hamels Felix Hernandez Brian Fuentes David Aardsma
I have tried trading to upgrade any of my keepers to no avail. We do not trade draft picks in this league.
I was thinking of keeping A Gonzalez, Pujols (duh), Roberts, Upton, and King Felix
Anyone have any other thoughts?
I was thinking no to Lind b/c he only has 1 season of solid production, Berkman is old, Hamels was really bad last year ...

I like to go for dependable power early in the draft, then find bags later on. That being said I would keep:
Adrian Gonzalez Albert Pujols Adam Lind - power last year was no fluke Brian Roberts - not a fan and wouldn't blame you for keeping upton here instead Felix Hernandez
I am fine with the guys you picked. Flip a coin between Lind and Upton so many different ways they could go. I don't think Lind is a fluke but if Upton can finally be healthy he could become a top 10 or higher OF. I think you have to keep Roberts as there is unlikely to be any 2B left in the draft.

Soooo, would anyone have a problem keeping both Lind and Upton but not Roberts?
If I were in your shoes, the 5th pick would be between Upton and Roberts (Lind, Felix, AGon, Pooholes). Roberts was (and probably still will be, for a year or two) a top-tier 2B, but he's getting old, and his speed and hitting will start to taper a bit. Upton is the other side of the coin, young, tons of potential, but has not realized his potential yet. He still has time to develop, but he's not coming along like some would have hoped.
In the end, it would come down for me to whether you think you're a contender this year (Roberts) or are focused on a year or two from now (BJUp)
Adrian Gonzalez Albert Pujols Adam Lind BJ Upton Felix Hernandez
I like Hamels too to bounce back but I think you can get him in one of the early rounds. Be prepared to keep Upton as your starting 2B because Roberts may be gone at 10.
