Agree with the above. Pitching is almost a crap shoot. I got Chris Carpenter in the final few rounds last year in a 12-Team league. There are always pitchers to be found in the late rounds and on waiver. You really just need to be on top of it. Don't pick up a guy after he throws a complete game, but look for guys with 4-5 quality starts in a row (>6 innings pitches, <3 runs). As for closers, its even more of a crap shoot. I don't waste my time on the Papelbons and Nathans, wait on guys in lower rounds. Again, keep a close eye on struggling closers and who there replacements would most likely be.
