What can you guys tell me about Jimmy Rollins? I know he hasn't run this spring. Any thoughts as to how valuable he is going to be? Anyone know of any good articles about him?

Rollins has 2 steals and 1 caught stealing so far, so I'd say he's running some. I don't know how he'll do. I took him as the last SS drafted in a 12-team league because he was the only SS out there that could give me 20 steals, so I'm hoping he does well. He's been in the #2 spot in the lineup for most of the games he's played, so that's good too (I have Thome also).
Roger Angell: I was talking with Bob Gibson and I said: 'Are you always this competitive?' He said: 'Oh, I think so. I got a three-year old daughter, and I've played about 500 games of tic-tac-toe with her and she hasn't beat me yet.'

I agree with the K's issue. When he plays scrappy and gets on base, he's dangerous.

He added another CS today and I'm not sure how to take that. It's great that he's running, but seems his % was bad last year too.

If I owned him, I'd prefer he get caught stealing rather than not attempt any at all.
That being said, I don't know why he's batting second when Polanco is probably much better suited for the spot. I don't think any manager really wants a .320 OBP who whiffs a lot in the 2nd spot.
But as long as he's batting first or second, he has value.
