Trade my 1st and 8th for his 2nd and 3rd? WHIR

12 team ESPN h2h league

I have the 5th overall pick, he has the 7th overall pick. He's offered me his 2nd and 3rd round picks for my 1st and 8th. Should I pull the trigger on this or no?

Absolutely not. You move from 5 to 18, just to move your eighth to a third rounder? Seems silly to me.

The only way I'd do this is, instead of an 8th rounder. Swap 1st rounders and you get his 3rd round pick ( he gets your 5th overall you get his 7th overall and his 3rd round pick. ;-D

I agree, no way I do this. There's a big dropoff from the player picked 5th overall to the first player you'd get at 18. Like the other person said, maybe try to do something if he wants to move up 2 spots in the 1st and you get one of his later picks.

Agreed. You're really handicapping your team right out of the gate if you don't get one of the top 10-15 guys.
