0-8 keepers...

For SURE: Votto, Utley, ARod, Markakis
PROBABLE: McCutchen, Wainwright, Ichiro
IF YOU WANT TO: Cain/Bartlett

#8 is the biggest question mark IMO, depends on other pitchers/SS going back to the draft...I just keep waiting for Brignac to come up and take the SS job in TB tho, so i'm not as high on Bartlett as others...

Wainwright and Gallardo on the SP front
Arod, Utley, Votto, Markakis (I agree all 4 of these are no brainers) - I think long-term McCutchen is a good choice and I'd probably flip a coin on the last spot between Ichiro and Pence. Pence offers the long-term value and Ichiro the short-term. I'd lean Ichiro, because Pence may never really stand out at any one thing and Ichiro will still get you a lot of SB.

Maybe either Cain or Bartlett for your 8th if you feel confident in either

;-D Any reason you wouldn't keep 8?

If you keep fewer, you draft early to get to 8, so if you think others are dropping players better than yours, you keep < 8 and draft 'em. I will most likely be keeping 8.

I forgot to take Ichiro off the list, as I traded him, but all your comments are still very relevant and helpful. Thanks.

My choice seems to be between Cain/Gallardo/Pence/Bartlett for my last 2 spots. Not sure I want to keep 3 SPs.

I was close to saying keep pence too, but throw him back and see if there's anyone better at that 8th pick. If not, grab him. ;-D

This doesn't change much, but I also forgot to add Jason Bay to my roster. I edited the first post to reflect this. Thanks for the help. Please keep the opinions coming. ;-D

I'd keep the seven that zippy posted and add Bay unless you really think there will be something better available.
