Here are the results of our MiLB draft. Most of the top names were kept on minor league rosters, but I thought I'd post it here anyway so people can get an idea of which guys might go higher than expected.

Generally, I don't like taking pitchers in these things, but I felt like they were dropping like rocks here. Here's who I think the best players not taken were:
Tate, Donavan Vizcaino, Arodys Hudson, Dan Leake, Michael Britton, Zach Crow, Aaron Saunders, Michael Chacin, Jhoulys Colome, Alexander
In my fridge: Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS), Central Waters Peruvian Morning, Bell's Batch 10,000, Dale's Pale Ale, Capital Brewery Amber, New Glarus Moon Man, and Guinness.

First scenario where we haven't seen Starsburg go 1st. Honestly, a little refreshing to see. Not that I won't be taken Stras with my first pick ...
Off base a bit, but a quick question. If you could have drafted Bryce Harper or Anthony Ranaudo (most likely top two players this upcoming June), where would put them into this list? I have leagues where you can draft college guys (or younger) and just wondering where they would slide in with regards to this group of players.
I'd take Harper over Ranaudo by a mile. The SI cover probably over hyped him, but catchers than can hit like him don't come around very often. I have Harper ranked 24th overall. About half the guys I have ahead of him were already taken in this draft.
Ranaudo missed his first start this weekend with a sore elbow. He may be out up to a month and had a similar elbow issue his Freshman year. Drafting guys before they have a MLB team is risky enough. With the elbow issue, I'm not touching Ranaudo.

Do your league mates generally favor hitting prospects to pitching? Maybe some of the hitters I'm eying won't fall as much as I was hoping. How were a lot of those guys taken over Donovan Tate?
Team C with no picks until 52,53,54 -- but man, what a great 3 picks that late in the draft. Waiting a while, but it sounds like that type of league anyway.

It seemed like people favored hitters over pitchers this year more than ever, maybe because of the group of hitters in this year's draft. I was quite surprised at the perceived value I was finding at pitching, so maybe I'm the one who mis-valued the players. Generally, my league gambles in the the late rounds, taking guys who have high upsides, but a long way to go to reach that upside. Still not drafting Tate was pretty crazy. He was absolutely the top player left on my draft board and I considered Tate and Sano with my last pick.

As far as your picks: I like Hellickson slightly better than Perez Picks 2-4, I have Tate, Turner, Teharen, Drabek & S.Miller pretty close in that order. You got 2 of them, so close to what I would've done. I have Castro about 30 slots below that group.
I don't like taking all pitchers, but looks to me like you got good value on every pick except Castro. I by no means hate that pick either. Depending on how many hitters/pitchers are already on your farm team, I may have taken Tate or Saunders with the last pick to avoid all pitchers. If my draft Saturday follows the same order, the hitters I wanted won't be available at 13. But Christian Freidrich & Jacob Turner (Pretty sure Turner will be taken at #5) will be which would be a pleasant surprise.
