Which keeper? Lackey, Wilson or Choo?

Postby Donnie740 » Wed Feb 24, 2010 5:19 pm

11 team 10 cat dynasty league with 10 keepers and no restrictions on the keepers. So far I've got the following:

C - V Martinez
1B - Berkman
2B - Utley
3B - Wright
SS - H Ramirez
OF - Crawford
OF - C Lee
SP - Haren
SP - C Lee

I like Lackey's prospects in Boston this year, but not sure if I want to keep 3 SPs with the depth that's available in later rounds.

I don't want to get caught scrambling for saves, so I'm thinking B Wilson might be a good 10th keeper, but does it make sense to keep a closer?

Can Choo become a 100-100-20-20-.300 player this year? I like his potential, but am I going to be starting off too weak at pitching by keeping 8 bats?

I like Choo to fill out the offense. Do you know what SPs will be available?

I'd keep Choo. He had a very solid year last year and is likely to repeat or do better this year.

Lackey's solid, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of late round value pitchers to find who'll come close to his production. People tend not to like to keep RPs, so there should be a good amount available to re-draft.
