Although largely undocumented, legend has it this player made 4 errors on a single play. Whom? :-D

Ok...I've just seen the story again but with only 3 errors. :-#
Name the guy I'm reading about who has the most fantastic story of bumbling a play.
The whole "legend" is largely undocumented but I've seen it more than a few times now. !+)

Were the errors actually charged or not? If not, then you may be talking about Chet Laabs' three goofs on one play during the World Series... while his teammates added three more! :-D

Not Laabs...and I don't really know about the errors being officially charged.
It may just turn out to be one of those "legends" that went undocumented.
