I just completed a keeper league trade. Grade my deal. Standard roto 5x5 12-team league, 10 keepers per team. I had Mark Teixeira, Kendry Morales, Pablo Sandoval and Mark Reynolds but only 3 spots in which to play them and Tex is entering his last year of his contract with me, soooo....
I traded Mark Teixeira I received Josh Johnson and a 2nd round pick
Here's what my team looks like now: Ryan Braun Kendry Morales Pablo Sandoval Mark Reynolds Hunter Pence Jose Lopez Zack Greinke Josh Johnson Scott Baker Ted Lilly

I'm not sure how your contracts work but I'm not in love with Kendry Morales or Josh Johnson. If you were going to lose him anyway I suppose the 2nd round pick could work out nicely. With that said...
Without knowing anything about your contract system....
The pick you get back will be somewhere around the 133rd best player overall. If you take away corner infielders, you are looking at something like Uggla there.
Teixiera for Uggla and Josh Johnson?
D+ and you get the + only because you didnt deal for any dead or retired players, just a "second round pick" that isn't nearly as impressive as "second round pick" sounds, and an injury-prone starter that had a breakout year (Ryan Dempster holla back!).
Nah, this is where all of you are wrong, though it's not your fault. The 2nd round pick may sound like nothing, but in mocking the first few rounds, the early part of the 2nd round looks to have guys such as McCann, Ichiro, Manny, Oswalt, Beltran, Harang, Slowey, Posada, among others. The list of players that will be taken in the first round are Han Ram, Halladay, Holliday, Verlander, Cain, J Santana, Morneau, Sizemore etc. So there are top 5 round talent available come draft time. I'll probably be targeting either McCann or Ichiro with the 4th pick in the 2nd round. So feel free to change your grades accordingly. Thank you.

So Tex for Josh Johnson and McCann? I am still on the Josh Johnson hater train, but being that your contract system apparently makes for a deeper draft than I had given you credit before, I upgrade you to a C.
But the grade that you get for your original post is less than an F. Never cool to only give 10% of the information needed to give an accurate opinion, then tell people that their feedback is flat-out wrong because they ventured a less than perfect opinion on your situation.
